so hello. we got back to seattle after some round abouting on tour with iron and wine and a gig in paris where adam got drunk and needed a word with himself- and now here we are again to pull something out the bag. the songs we're recording here all seem to operate within their own universe - i imagined they'd all spill over eachother, but no - doing one you forget that any other music ever existed. that's some exaggeration - matt played me some 'Grant Brothers' yesterday while we did some brown trout blues and for a while in the history of music there was just us and them. think about it.... and there are some teeshirts for sale. i wouldn't plug them but they were made by my friend and now ex-flatmate Lisa who's in Mexico doing the right thing. love johnny + the witWebsite by Retrofuzz
